Metro Hope For Kids was founded as a result of Rosella Angel Ridings, the founder, hearing the audible voice of the Lord, May 11, 2011, saying, "I want you to make a difference in the building at Metro. " She responded with, "Yes God, I will be obedient." Pastor Bill Wilson, founder of Metro World Child, gave his full endorsement to her and the team to move forward.
A second audible word from God came on July 4th, 2014, connecting Rosella with Mr. N. Thungdemo Kikon, founder of Wondang-Ki Orphanage, Nagaland, India, saying, "You can do something for the girls in Nagaland." Again she said, "Yes God, I can do something."
Metro Hope For Kids has helped to restore the building which is now METRO WORLD MINISTRIES CENTER. All of the different ministries have been brought to the Center; offices, staff living quarters, auditorium, beautiful kitchen and dining, and much more! All so the lives of thousands of children around the world may be changed! We have continued to work with Metro World Child, helping to accomplish the goal of making a difference in the lives of boys and girls. YES, we have done much more than 'something' for the girls in Nagaland! We have helped provide for their daily care as well as providing funds to pay for their education. We saw the need for a permanent home for these children and in 2017 we began raising funds to buy property and in 2018 God miraculously spoke to Steve Strang to help raise funds for the new orphanage. We are nearing completion and believing God to provide the funds needed to complete the home as well as furnish it. ​There are 24 girls and around a dozen small boys and babies. The new orphanage will house 48 girls and babies.
Through our partners we minister to over 250,000 children world-wide. Our goal is to help meet the spiritual as well as physical needs of these children.

Metro Hope For Kids is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity with its headquarters in Lake Mary, (a suburb of Orlando) Florida. One hundred percent of all donations received goes directly to the project. Founded in May 2011, Metro Hope For Kids has seen God perform many miracles for the children. Rosella says often, "God is amazing" and he truly is and he has much more for us to accomplish to make a difference in the lives of boys and girls. We can't stop now--We can do something!
