WHY SHOULD WE HELP ORPHANS?
"I Was One of Them..."
by Theresa Vallee
God not only defends these precious orphans, He brings hope and a loving home to them. I was in an unfortunate place growing up in India, abandoned by my mother in the care of a Christian Convent. While growing up in the late 1950's, the abuses encountered while in the boarding school, shed light on the best and worst of humanity. But because of my childlike faith in God, and with the help of an angel, someone who cared and thought I was worth loving; taught me about the real Jesus; "By His stripes, we are healed!"
So why should we help the orphans? I was one of them, and I long to brighten their lives by remembering the simple pleasures of receiving care packages of clothes, toys and books from America. The little girls in Wondang-Ki Orphanage in Nagaland have my support and need your support, so that they may experience the love of Jesus through us, his disciples.
As a partner with Wondang-Ki Orphanage, our vision is to make a difference in the lives of the girls through helping to meet their needs spiritually, physically, emotionally, academically and preparing them for a brighter future.
