Founder, Wondang-Ki Orphanage
Dimapur, Nagaland, India

Wondang-Ki Charitable Foundation, (Wondang-Ki means House of Light in Naga Lotha dialect), is a Registered Charitable Society under the Nagaland Society Registration. The organization is designed to give "hope to the hopeless and a home for the homeless" with its motto "ENTRUSTED TO TRANSFORM LIVES." Mr. Kikon runs a model orphanage for girls and a Specialized Adoption Agency.

Mr. Kikon says, "While working for the destitute children since 2001, I came across two challenging situations and decided to work to bring reformation.  While working for the destitute children it was observed that the girl orphans are either used as domestic helpers or baby sitters." This led to the beginning of the model orphanage exclusively for girls to give opportunity to TRANSFORM their lives by providing home care and the best of education.

Mr. Kikon receives an award from the President of India for his model orphanage. What a privilege to partner with a man of character and integrity and a passion to help the homeless girls.

The beautiful girls that now have a home, loving care and are receiving an education to provide for their future.

The staple food of Nagaland is rice. So the girls have rice daily along with fish, meat and vegetables.

The Orphanage is using a rented building that is in much need of repair and neither is it large enough to do all that is needed for the girls and babies that are living in the orphanage. THE NEED IS GREAT FOR THEIR OWN BUILDING. We must do something!

The orphanage also provides an adoption program for babies.

Happy new parents receive little Kevin from Mrs. Kikon.
